Judy Brooks brings decades of media and healing arts experience to her role as founder of Lightbridge
Media LLC and creator of HealingQuest, the acclaimed series of weekly half-hour programs exploring
the latest on integrative health and natural approaches to well-being.
Ms. Brooks began her career a radio sales executive in Sacramento and Los Angeles. In L.A. she also
focused her talents on the business side of show business. As a talent agent, she opened the Flair Agency's
children's department before going on to work for Creative Artists Agency and Progressive Artists Agency.
In 1984, she founded Brooks Management, a personal management company for television and motion picture
performers. In that same year she founded the Video Tape Library, a stock footage company in LA.
In 1992, she opened Brooks Productions, which grew into Lightbridge Media originally based in San Francisco
and now located in Sonoma. Along the way she also found time to pursue a lifelong interest in metaphysical
studies and become a certified Alchemical Hypnotherapist and a Reiki Practitioner.
In addition to Healing Quest, Ms. Brooks has amassed a wide variety of credits, including:
- Executive producer and director of Peace Kids: The China Trip, a one-hour documentary for PBS stations. It tells the heartwarming story of 14 American children who traveled to China on a mission of peace with Children As The Peacemakers founder Patricia Montandon.
- Executive producer of Age Power with Ken Dychwald, a one-hour prime time PBS pledge special that addresses the impending revolution in the United States as 78 million 'Baby Boomers' turn 50.
- Producer and director of Broken Wings, a six-part video series for U.S. educators and health service providers on how to begin to heal the epidemic of Domestic Violence.
- Producer/Host of Mind*Body*Spirit Reports for BAY TV, San Francisco.
- Contributing Producer on Mind, Body, Spirit: The Real Health Show for Planet Central Television, Inc.
- Talent consultant on Earth Journeys with Christopher Reeve, a 26 part half-hour series which aired on The Travel Channel and was nominated for two Cable ACE Awards.
- Associate Producer of the pilot for Rendezvous, a half-hour travel show that ran for three years on The Discovery Channel and was nominated for two Cable ACE Awards.
- Producer and host of The Intuitive Connection, a weekly radio show in San Francisco produced in connection with the Center for Applied Intuition in 1989.
- Producer and director of five stage performances in San Francisco showcasing the Autobiographical Ensemble technique.
Ms. Brooks' intention is to create Healing Quest as a media brand that provides useful and trustworthy content
and resources to the global lifestyle community interested in health, wellness and improved personal growth.
