Our Connection to the Planet
One mistake of modern science, according to Dr. Deepak Chopra, is
dualistic thinking that differentiates between a biological organism

Releasing Negative Energy
Toxic feelings like anger and resentment are more than just unpleasant;
they can actually be dangerous to our health. Dr. Deepak Chopra says
toxic emotions at the molecular level are as damaging as any other
toxin. In order to deal with these emotions, he says we must take
responsibility for our own emotions, witness the emotion in our body,
label it, and express it in non-toxic ways such as journaling or
therapy. The all-important final step is to then release the toxic
emotion, to let it go, and share your emotional victory with someone
you love who understands you.

On Meditation
We hear a lot about the benefits of meditation, but many of us have a
hard time doing it. Dr. Deepak Chopra encourages us to have no
expectations when meditating, to avoid thinking there’s a right way or
wrong way to do it. He suggests we begin our meditation practice by
just learning to sit for 15 or 20 minutes and simply experience
whatever we feel, including the restlessness and all the body

Listening to Our Bodies
The best way to teach our body to be healthy, according to Dr. Deepak
Chopra, is actually to listen to it. Our body’s biological rhythms, he
says, are the symphony of the whole Universe. Just as our planet, our

The Biology of Belief
It’s important that patients believe the diagnosis from their doctor
because if they don’t, and the diagnosis has been made accurately, then
they’re not going to get the right treatment. But according to Dr.

The Healing Power of Laughter
As you might expect, the tears of laughter have a completely different
chemistry than the tears of sorrow. According to Dr. Deepak Chopra, you
can’t be experiencing laughter and have your ego in the same way at the
same time because the molecules of emotion secreted from laughter are

depressed states of consciousness. These molecules of emotion, called
