Laurie is a passionate voice for food purity and food freedom. She serves as Director of Communications for the Institute for Responsible Technology (IRT), a non-profit dedicated to GMO education, outreach and inspiring the consumer to a non-GMO tipping point. She is co-founder of the national non-profit Farm Food Freedom Coalition, which that serves to educate and protect the rights of individual farmers, artisans and consumers. Laurie brings 20-plus years as a real foods advocate, speaker, writer and blogger, and is a certified health counselor in integrative nutrition. She is also director of LCP HealthWorks, a practice in which she coaches her clients to make wise and informed food choices. Laurie works internationally as a consultant on multi-agenda, conscious food, ecology and agricultural projects, and she also oversees GMO-Free Kitchen, which assists restaurants across the USA in ridding their kitchens of GMOs and redirecting their purchasing to sustainable farmers and producers. Most importantly, Laurie is a mother who is committed to feeding her family a healthy and non-GMO diet.
