We hear a lot about the benefits of meditation, but many of us have a hard time doing it. Dr. Deepak Chopra encourages us to have no expectations when meditating, to avoid thinking there’s a right way or wrong way to do it. He suggests we begin our meditation practice by just learning to sit for 15 or 20 minutes and simply experience whatever we feel, including the restlessness and all the body sensations. In fact, he says, learning to feel into our emotions and body sensations is great pathway into meditation!
